Finding the perfect jacket that works with you body frame is definitely a challenge. Over the years, I have tried out different types/styles of jackets and there have been many hits as well as misses. But that what makes this even more exciting since there isn't one ideal answer or a formula in fashion.

Here are some of my style tips for different body frames (please note, this is just my styling tips and in fashion there is NO RULE where it states that this is what you should follow)

Have a PETITE frame:
I would personally recommend a traditional slightly short jacket with hits right on the hips to enhance the frame and give some illusion to the body shape.

Have a PEAR SHAPE frame:
Go for some jackets with shoulder padding and structured jacket to balance out the body frame.

Have an APPLE SHAPE frame:
Stick to a jacket with a belted to create an illusion of waist for your ideal frame.

Have a PLUS-SIZE frame:
First of all, go for a dark shade without any collar details, this given a seamless look by elongating and create an hourglass shape.

Have a STRAIGHT frame:
You have the ideal boyish frame and you can definitely create hips but wearing waist-defining jackets.

Have a BUSTY frame (THIS IS MY BODY FRAME):
Personally for my body frame, I tend to wear over-sized jackets to remove the attention from the upper part of my frame. However made, do believe that wearing oversize may overwhelm the frame or even add some extra tension to the frame (but I defer to this concept).

There is NO guideline in FASHION. It's your canvas you make it your own and unique
