Tiffany Falls Conservation Area is part of the Hamilton Conservation Authority and is located on Wilson Street in Ancaster. There is a little parking area along Wilson Street that holds approximately 15-20 vehicles. If this is your first stop to see waterfalls, you can pay the $5 parking fee and keep your ticket on your dash to cover parking for some of the other waterfall sites. To see Tiffany Falls, a lovely 21 metre cascade waterfall, you have to take an easy hike approximately 10-15 minutes into the woods along a dirt pathway that crosses Tiffany Creek a couple of times before arriving to a wooden platform that gives you a great view of the falls. This waterfall can be accessed all year long and in the winter when the falls are iced over, you can climb them with a climbing company from the area.

Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster is another downhill thrill at Blue Mountain! Ridge Runner takes riders on an exhilarating coaster experience as it twists and turns 1,085 metres (3,560 feet) down the mountain through varied terrain. Riders control their own speeds - up to 42 kilometres per hour (26 miles per hour).
The Ridge Runner coaster ride at Blue Mountain is awesome! You can push the spring loaded brake handles full forward to enable the sled to go full speed on the curvy track. You experience 2G forces around very tight corners and it's a wild ride.

During the warmer months of 2019, I had an opportunity to go canoeing in Grand River Conservation Area with a few of my friends.
This trip starts on the Nith River and goes into the Grand River. The river averages 1 meter in depth with 2 meter deep pools. Many first time canoe, kayak, stand up paddle board clients prefer this route as it makes for a relaxing day or the perfect introduction.

You don't need to travel all the way to Peru or Northern Chile to get up close and personal with alpacas or llamas.

Sandbanks Provincial Park is located on the Northern shore and Eastern end of Lake Ontario in Prince Edward County. Sandbanks Provincial Park is home to the largest fresh-water bay-mouth bar in the world, and while that translates into miles of beautiful sand beaches. It is the world’s largest bay-mouth barrier dune formation. Also, there are three expansive sandy beaches that some say are among the best in Canada. The beaches are perfect for families, with shallow waters and gentle drop off. Plus, the location jutting out into Lake Ontario means that this park is a bird migration hotspot in spring and fall.
