Its been exactly 132 days since my daily lifestyle has changes due to Covid-19... Initially this series was labelled as "Quarantine Week" but now I have lost count. During this time, I have been going through a rollercoaster ride... with ups and downs in emotions, stress and literally trying to figure a way to continue without complaining.
Have you heard of the saying
“Too much of anything isn't good for anyone.” ― Ray Bradbury, The Illustrated Man
However, during these days on I have been trying use this time to work on myself (self improve) and I would really love to know how each of you are spending this time in Quarantine.
Please, note currently my city is in stage 2 of the getting back to normal however for my own safety as well as for the safety of the loved ones around me I have been trying my best to avoid going out unless it's required.
Now, here are nonstop photos of the recipes I have made in the past few weeks:

Bonnechere Caves - Eganville, Ontario
The Bonnechere Caves in Eganville have been welcoming people from all over the world for over 55 years. The Bonnechere Caves were a fun experience. The cave tour was included with the admission fee and was education with information about the area, the different fossils found here, story of the caves discovery. The tour included spelunking in the caves (walking within the very narrow cave confines) and we also got to see bats in the cave and walk in total darkness.

Quarantine 4 - Completed!
Can't believe that I have been staying indoors since April 17. So far, I have only been out of the house twice to pick up some essential items for the house.
Survived another week of staying indoors during this quarantine. With the weather being above 15C, it has been really hard to stay indoors with the birds chirping in the mornings to see sunsets after 8PM.
Here are the photos from my week 3 of quarantine filled with food.
I have started baked more - tried out a new recipe "Homemade French Vanilla Cashew Cake with Chocolate Icing"
Week 2 of Quarantine has help me to appreciate the small things and moments in life.
Let's talk about the thing that’s on everyone’s mind:
COVID-19!!
How’s everyone feeling?
Like most people, I am in quarantine and practicing social distancing.
I’m extremely grateful for my health and I would like to do my part to flatten the curve.
Here is a recap of my first week in quarantine (start from March 17), during week one...
I have been able to reconnect with my artistic side and to be frank this has help me to be more calm and relax. It's definitely be a way for me to meditate.
Together, we can slow the spread of COVID-19 by making a conscious effort to keep a physical distance between each other. Social distancing is proven to be one of the most effective ways to reduce the spread of illness during an outbreak.
What does Social Distancing mean?
- avoiding crowded places and non-essential gatherings
- avoiding common greetings, such as handshakes
- limiting contact with people at higher risk (e.g. older adults and those in poor health)
- keeping a distance of at least 2 arms lengths (approximately 2 metres) from others, as much as possible
This means making changes in your everyday routines in order to minimize close contact with others.
Here’s how you can practice social distancing:
- greet with a wave instead of a handshake, a kiss or a hug
- stay home as much as possible, including for meals and entertainment
- shop or take public transportation during off-peak hours
- host virtual playdates for your kids
- use technology to keep in touch with friends and family
If possible,
- use food delivery services or online shopping
- exercise at home or outside
- work from home
Remember to:
- wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds and avoid touching your face
- cough or sneeze into the bend of your arm
- avoid touching surfaces people touch often
Please take care and stay safe ✌
